Higher Level RV Inspection Services

Higher Level RV Services provides RV Inspection services and abides by the National RV Inspectors Association code of ethics and standards of practice. www.nrvia.org .  Higher Level is not affiliated with any RV manufacturer or dealer, we work for YOU.

Why an RV inspection
  • Are you considering the purchase of a particular new or used  RV and you want to make an informed decision?
  • Are you the seller of an RV who wants to increase the value of their RV and expand the pool of potential buyers by offering an unbiased RV inspection.
  • Is your current RV nearing the end of its manufacturer warranty and you want a detailed “punch list” to take to the dealer for repair?
  • Are you an RV dealer that wants your customers to become valuable, repeat clients who will refer their friends to?

If the answer to any of those questions is “YES!” then Higher Level RV Services is here to help.

The Inspection Process
  • Our client determines the depth of the RV inspection by reviewing our “points of inspection” with the inspector and discussing the clients needs.
  • The client receives a copy of the agreed  on points of inspection, a contract and schedule confirmation. The contract must be signed by the client and the owner must agree to the inspection process, time and date. We request that the owner be available to demonstrate certain RV systems as needed.
  • On receipt of the signed contract and payment for the inspection the inspector will begin the inspection process with a review of the particular units standard features and any options or upgrades.
  • On inspection day we require the RV to be connected to all utilities; electric, water, gas and sewer. We ask that refrigerators be turned on 12 hours prior to the inspection.  We encourage a pre inspection meeting with our client to answer any questions.
  • The inspection can last 8 hours, include up to 500 points of inspection and 100-200 pictures and videos. The inspector will start with a general overview of the exterior and then move from  “roof  to wheels”. If the inspection includes fluid analysis the engine(s) will need to be warmed up prior to the fluid draw.
  • After the inspection we strongly encourage an in person or phone conversation with the client. This “debrief” time with the client allows  the inspector a chance to answer questions and give an overview of the inspection.
  • Within 24 hours the client will receive a detailed report with pictures and videos covering all the points of inspection. Fluid analysis results may take longer due to shipping .
  • After receiving and  reviewing the inspection report, Higher Level RV Services encourages clients to call or email the inspector with questions or to clarify issues.
  • Unfortunately Higher Level RV Services cannot determine a dollar value for an RV, cannot give our clients an answer to the “would  you buy this RV?” question and  cannot  test drive or test tow any RV. (but will ride along with the owner at our discretion and with their permission).

We WILL provide our client with all the unbiased  information possible  to make an informed RV decision that meets their needs and their wants.
